もし地震を止める技術が開発されて、これがヘタに運用されたら、プレートとプレートの歪みが蓄積されて制御不能なとんでもない大地震を発生させてしまうだろう。トンデモ犯罪を考える上で、これと同じような力学的な観点が必要だと思う。俺が思うに歪みが蓄積されやすい世代ってものがあって、神戸とバスジャックと豊川の事件の年代がこれにあたる。どの事件でも、同年代の子供たちが「犯人に共感できる部分がある」と言っていた。もうちょっと踏みこんで聞き出せば、「彼がやったおかげで僕はやらなくてすんだ」という発言を引き出せるかもしれない。
